MCS is evaluating various standards for anti collision methodology for multiple cards/applications and the baud rate transmission necessary to meet the transportation or access control application with secured reloading application.

Although the trend is towards contactless cards, there are still a lot of contact card readers in the world. We have the technology to combine both the interfaces within the same card environment.

Apparatus to convert contact cards to contactless cards

Prototype Apparatus

We have developed a prototype apparatus to convert contact cards to contactless cards. The apparatus will enable existing contact card readers to remain operable while the gradual conversion to contactless cards takes place. Alternatively, a single such apparatus can convert all contact cards to contactless cards thereby reducing the cost of availability of smart cards since contact cards cost much less.
